In the early 1980’s in conjunction with the world’s leading occupational safety, health and environmental organisation, British Safety Council, based in London, we sponsored and co-organised with the late James Tye, Director General of British Safety Council, Ms. Beautiful Eyes. The event was held Every Easter Bank Holiday in London receiving massive press and media coverage.
The contestants were sponsored by the UK factories they worked for. These factories held their own very serious Ms Beautiful Eyes contests in-house, then UK Regional Finals took place, the regional winners then competed in a grand final in a prestigious hotel in Central London of about ten contestants. The winner was the safety ambassador for one year promoting eye safety with trips around the world. At that time up to 300 workers were being blinded in factories monthly, because they did not have protective eye glasses.
Both organizations then stopped Ms Beautiful Eyes in 1990 due to the success of our efforts through MBE in protective eye glasses and our different marketing focuses.
Now some twenty years later, we have decided to reactivate Ms. Beautiful Eyes in a new fresh beauty pageant format, due to the fact the world is suffering from forms of blindness which is avoidable, particularly in Africa and Asia.
We will appoint license holders spread throughout the world; the licensee profile will be that they are in the beauty business and holding the license will enhance their particular business. Each country will have their own designated concept; under the Ms Beautiful Eyes lead banner [Kenyan Eyes] - [Ghanaian Eyes] - [Mongolian Eyes] etc.
Each Continent will host their region finals.
In Europe because of the diversity of different countries Ms Beautiful-Eyes will be sectioned into countries i.e. Kenyan European Eyes.
We will work with the local license holder and support them with their respective Country Tourism and Trade Ministries to enable them to get full Governmental endorsement giving their full support locally for this new fresh unique competition.
The competition will be a pageant of a difference; the winner will be based firstly on their beautiful eyes, secondly their looks and deportment, no tattoos or facial piercing, there will be no swimwear section but based on high-class fashion.
